Self-haircut was performed in Moscow at home, in front of a wardrobe mirror. By that date a lot had happened in Moscow and even though hair continued growing with no haircuts, August 31st came by surprise. It was a random family evening with a strong feeling that next morning there was no chance to wake up the same. For the convenience of self-service the hair was first braided and then cut off. The 1984-1988 braid started the collection of braids, "Meaning of Life". The performance was not documented. |
