Exhibition Qui Pro Quo at the OkNo gallery in Chelyabinsk, Ural region, Russia, in the Fall of 2017 was part of the parallel program of the 4th Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art “New Literacy”. Artists Irina Danilova, Linda Mary Montano and Nicolas Dumit Estevez Raful investigated alternative ways of communication. “One instead of the other” became a leading theme of the show.
Poets Rimma Agliuplina, Yanis Grants, Yana Lyubimova, Aleksandr Manchenko, Polina Potapova, Konstantin Rubinskiy and Artem Starikov realized Irina Danilova’s conceptual idea. Poetry reading performance was at the opening of the show by the letter “O” installation, Irina’s homage to OknO gallery.
